About

Hi, I’m Alison — and welcome to The Auction Haus.

This little corner of the internet is where I release tiny, highly edited auctions of vintage pieces. Think: small drops, unique finds, no scrolling fatigue, and no complex shipping or pickup policies.

I’ve always loved estate sales, vintage markets, and that feeling when you find something that’s clearly been loved before — the good kind of patina, a story you can’t quite place, a shape or color that just gets you. The Auction Haus grew out of that love and a desire to make the handoff smoother: from the person who cherished the piece last to the person who will love it next.

Each auction has a loose theme — sometimes MCM, sometimes art, sometimes kitchenware—always things I've considered keeping for myself but have run out of shelf space.

Why auctions?

Because with vintage, there isn’t one “correct” price — there’s only what someone wants to pay for it. Auctions let the right buyer find the right piece at the right moment. And honestly? They’re fun. A little suspense, a little thrill, and a lot more engaging than a fixed-price scroll.

You can choose free pickup in the middle of San Francisco (I'll share a flexible scheduling link) or simple, transparent, cost-effective shipping that’s calculated before you bid — no surprises later.

Auctions run only a few days, and I keep them intentionally small so everything feels intentional, styled, and worth your time. If you want to set your max price before others even know it's out there, join the email list. If you want sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes styling, I’m on Instagram @vintagetreasurehaus. And if you want to bid… I hope you find something to fall in love with.

What's Modern Estate Sale?

Honestly? I’m still figuring that part out. Modern Estate Sale is the umbrella project for The Auction Haus — a place where I’m imagining new ways to work with estate sale experts, families, and vintage shoppers on a bigger, more connected platform. The goal: smoother handoffs, happier buyers, and better homes for amazing pieces they don't make anymore.

Thanks for being here — and happy treasure hunting.
